Enjoyed this tour! I hadn't realized what a long, distinguished career Ms. Head had.

I am surprised no Marilyn Monroe costumes are on display.

One wonders why such an important exhibition didn't travel. Seems as much of a loss as a gain.

Edith Head had such a knack for flattering the female form, creating the most eye-catching appeal. I would have LOVED to wear something she designed ❤

She is talented and deserving. However, SOME of her costuming was actually done by others, but she got all the credit.

Try to find Ediths book...highly recommend. Efith forged decades long relationships with many actresses. Edith bequeathed Elizabeth Taylor a particular piece of jewelry that was one of a kind necklace - it's featured in Elizabeths beautiful jewelry book. Edith wore the necklace in many of her own personal appearances

We take Ms Heads female designs for granted but I understand she really enjoyed designing for male characters so I hope we see more of those costumes eventually.

In the 60s though there was only 3 channels on TV, So it was still a Bug Deal to go to the Movies same with the 70s.

Interesting. It feels like far to much time looking at the narrator and not nearly enough time looking at the costumes. This really doesn’t work well.
